Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve located in Umaria, Shahdol and Katni Districts of Madhya Pradesh in Central India. This tiger reserve lies between the Kanha Tiger Reserve on the southern side and Sanjay National Park on the north eastern side. This tiger reserve is also archeologically significant because of the presence of the Bandhavgarh Fort, various ancient caves, rock paintings and carvings.

Tala Gate is situated on Umaria to Beohari route.

Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Pallickathode Village in Kottayam Taluk in Kottayam District in Kerala, India. This waterfall should not be confused with the Aruvikkuzhy Waterfall in Pathanamthitta District. It is a seasonal waterfall and is about 30 ft in height. The waterfall is surrounded by rubber plantations. There are several trekking trails that wind through the lush greenery surrounding the falls. The best time to visit this waterfall is during the monsoon.

The waterfall is located at about 100 metres from Aruvikkuzhi Bus Stop, 2.5 Kms from Pallickathode, 7 Kms from Pampady, 19 Kms from Kottayam Railway Station, 20 Kms from Kottayam, 20 Kms from Kanjirappally and 86 Kms from Kochi Airport. The waterfall is situated at about 7 Kms to the north east of Pampady on the Kottayam to Kanjirappally route.

Aruvikkuzhy Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Thadiyoor Village near Kozhencherry Town in Mallappalli Taluk in Pathanamthitta District in Kerala, India. This waterfall should not be confused with the Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall in Kottayam District. Thos waterfall is about 30 feet high. The word Aruvikkuzhy (Aruvi means water stream, Kuzhi means deep hole) means a water stream with depth in the Malayalam language.

The waterfall is situated at about 1.5 Kms to the south of Thadiyoor Bus Stop on the Vennikulam to Ranni route.

Aripara Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Nellipoyil Village near Thiruvambady Town in Kozhikode Taluk in Kozhikode District in Kerala, India. This waterfall is on one of the tributaries of Iruvanjipuzha River. It is a series of eight waterfalls namely Sullukallu, Vattakuzhi, Nirannapara, Olichuchattom, Swasakkuzhi, Neelakkayathadakam etc. The water flows through huge flat rocks and dropping at different places (usually 10-20 feet high). A pool is formed at the bottom layer of these falls which is a good place for swimming. The best time to visit this waterfall is during post monsoon. There is a proposal for implementing a hydro power project on the Aripara waterfall.

Areekkal Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Pampakuda Village in Muvattupuzha Taluk in Ernakulam District in Kerala, India. It is one of the major domestic tourist destinations in Pampakuda. The waterfall is around 100 feet in height. The waterfall originates from Mannathur Hills in Tirumaradi Panchayat. It falls on all three levels. There is a barricaded area built below the third level for travelers to access. The waterfall is surrounded by rubber plantations and dense forests. The ideal time to visit the waterfall is from June to September.

The waterfall is situated at about 2.5 Kms to the east of Pampakuda on the Piravom to Muvattupuzha route.

Anayadikuthu Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Anayadikuthu Village near Thodupuzha Town in Thodupuzha Taluk in Idukki District in Kerala, India. It is also known as Anachadi Kuth Falls. It is situated close to the Thommankuthu Waterfall on the border of Karimannur and Vannapuram Panchayats.

Legends

As per legend, it is said that herds of elephants from the inner forests used to reach the flat rock above this waterfall to drink water in summer. During such visit, a clash happened between two elephants and one of them fell into the waterfall and died. Thus, the waterfall came to be called Anachadikuthu. Later, the name got corrupted Anayadikuthu.

The Waterfall

The waterfall is located at the bottom of the stream that flows through Kambakakanam and Neikuthanal. There is a concrete bridge for people to walk across the top of the falls. The waterfall will be in full glory during the monsoon season. It is considered one of the safest waterfalls, making it a favourite destination for families. The visitors are also allowed to take a dip in its refreshing waters. Monkeys and several species of birds can be seen near this waterfall. There are monkeys and many types of birds near the waterfall.

The waterfall is located at about 1.5 Kms from Anayadikuthu Junction, 2 Kms from Thommankuthu Waterfalls, 8 Kms from Vannappuram, 10 Kms from Karimannur, 17 Kms from Paingottoor, 22 Kms from Thodupuzha, 22 Kms from Thodupuzha Bus Stand, 44 Kms from Idukki, 62 Kms from Piravom Road Railway Station and 66 Kms from Kochi Airport. The waterfall can be reached from Thodupuzha via Karimannur and Thommankuthu.
