Aruvikkachal Waterfall, Poonjar, Kerala
Aruvikkachal Waterfall is
a natural waterfall located near Poonjar Town in Meenachil Taluk in Kottayam
District in Kerala, India. It is one of the highest
waterfalls in Kerala. The waterfall falls from a height of about 235 feet. The
best time to visit the waterfall is during the monsoon season.
Connectivity
The waterfall is located at about 8 Kms from Poonjar Bus
Stand, 9 Kms from Poonjar, 13 Kms from Erratupetta, 25 Kms from Meenachil, 30
Kms from Mundakkayam, 52 Kms from Kottayam, 52 Kms from Kottayam Railway
Station and 96 Kms from Kochi Airport. The waterfall is situated on Poonjar to
Mundakkayam route.
