Mehendi Kund Waterfall is a waterfall located in Jhikadiya Khedi Village near Mhow Town in Indore District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the best waterfalls in Indore area. This waterfall is situated close to the Bamniya Kund Waterfall.



The Waterfall

This waterfall is situated in the depth of dense forests in the Malindi region. This waterfall is a monsoon fed waterfall and has a total height of 70 feet. It is known as Mehendi kund because the color of rocks look like Mehendi. The water from this waterfall goes to the Patalpani Waterfall.



Connectivity

The waterfall can be reached from Nakheri Dam at the base of the hill via trekking for about 8 Kms. Nakheri Dam is located at about 1.5 Kms from Bargonda, 12 Kms from Mhow, 13 Kms from Mhow Railway Station, 35 Kms from Indore, 38 Kms from Indore Airport, 48 Kms from Maheshwar and 227 Kms from Bhopal. Nakheri Dam is situated at about 1.5 Kms to the east of Bargonda on Mhow to Maheshwar route.

The Waterfall

This waterfall is situated in the depth of dense forests in the Malindi region. The waterfall has a total height of 300 feet. The waterfall can be reached from Nakheri Dam at the base of the hill via trekking. The trekking trail traverses through dense forests. Wild animals and birds can be spotted along the route. The waterfall is a perfect place for several activities like trekking, rappelling, flying fox, camping, and great photography. The best time to visit this waterfall is from September to December.

Bahuti Falls is a waterfall located near Mauganj Town in Rewa District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the highest waterfall in Madhya Pradesh. This waterfall is located close to Chachai Falls and Keoti Falls.


The Waterfall

This waterfall falls from a height of 142 m (466 feets). It is situated on the Odda river in the Rewa plateau. Odda is a tributary of the Bihad river which in turn joins the Tamsa (Tons) river. It is an example of a nick point caused by rejuvenation. Knick point, also called a nick point or simply nick, represents breaks in slopes in the longitudinal profile of a river caused by rejuvenation. The break in channel gradient allows water to fall vertically giving rise to a waterfall.

Keoti Falls is a waterfall located in Keoti Village near Sirmaur Town in Rewa District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the 24th highest waterfall in India and third highest in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated at the edge of the Chitrakoot Hills, a part of the Kaimur Range.

It is a segmented type waterfall with a single drop. It is an example of a nick point caused by rejuvenation. Chachai Falls is a waterfall located in Chachai Village near Sirmaur Town in Rewa District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the 23rd highest waterfall in India and second highest in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated at the edge of the Chitrakoot Hills, a part of the Kaimur Range. It was once praised by former Indian Prime Minister Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru for its breathtaking charisma and beauty. 


The Waterfall

The waterfall is situated on the Bihad River, a tributary of Tamsa or Tons River as it comes down from the Rewa Plateau. It has a total height of 130 metres (430 ft). The flow of the river, however, has been reduced by the creation of a dam, for generating electricity for the state and providing irrigation facilities around the falls. Sissu Falls is a waterfall located in Sissu Town in Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is considered by travelers as one of the best falls in the Himalayan region.
