Sissu Falls is a waterfall located in Sissu Town in Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is considered by travelers as one of the best falls in the Himalayan region. This waterfall has a drop of about 50 metres. The source of water is the suspended glaciers on the Himalayan range. The place is magnificent with dense green vegetation and beautiful scenery. The falls can be seen from the road to Manali.
The best time to visit this
waterfall is during the months from June till October. The falls is located at
about 27 Kms from Tandi, 33 Kms from Rohtang La, 39 Kms from Manali, 79 Kms
from Kullu, 89 Kms from Kullu Manali Airport, 202 Kms from Joginder Nagar
Railway Station and 277 Kms from Shimla. This falls is situated at about 20
minutes’ drive from Sissu on Leh Manali highway.
