Sajla Waterfall, Sajla, Himachal Pradesh
Sajla Waterfall is a waterfall located in Sajla Village in Kullu District in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is a natural waterfall situated on the left bank of Beas River. It is surrounded by deodar trees, pine trees, apple orchards and snow-covered mountain peaks. There is a pool at the bottom of the falls. People can enjoy a refreshing bath in the falls and engage in swimming in the pool. It is possible to trek to the top of the hill which provides an excellent view of the waterfall and the surroundings.
The trek route passes through a narrow lane by the side
of Sajla temple and goes through apple orchids, tall pine trees and streams. The
Paknoj Nallah stream and snow-capped peaks of Pir Panjal mountains can be seen
while trekking through this route. The waterfall is located at about 8 Kms from
Jagatsukh, 10 Kms from Naggar, 10 Kms from Manali Bus Stand, 11 Kms from Manali,
33 Kms from Kullu, 43 Kms from Kullu–Manali Airport. The waterfall is situated
on Kullu – Naggar – Manali route.
