Agonda Beach is a public beach located in Agonda Village in Canacona Taluk in South Goa District of Goa, India. Agonda Beach is one of the four beaches in Goa designated as turtle nesting sites under the Coastal Regulation Zone 2011 notification. This beach was ranked on TripAdvisor's "Travelers Choice" as fourth in Asia and first in India by TripAdvisor in 2016. It is situated to the north of Palolem Beach.

The Beach

This beach is a 3 kms long pristine stretch of beach. It is one of the cleanest beaches of Goa and surprisingly less crowded. It is an excellent spot for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing because of the fewer crowds. It is famous for its astonishing view of sunset around the Agonda cliff. It is considered as one of the most romantic beaches in Goa. The borderline of the shores comes up with beautifully aligned coconut trees and palm trees.

Local fishermen take tourists to sea on boat rides for sighting dolphins for certain price. The beach stretch has an ancient Agonda Church, the Saint Anne's Church and few academic institutions. The beach serves as a nesting ground for olive ridley sea turtles during the month of September. There is one more beach on the north side of Agonda cliff called Cola beach which has an adjoining lagoon.

The beach is located at about 1 Km from Agonda Bus Stand, 9 Kms from Canacona Bus Stand, 9 Kms from Canacona Railway Station, 9 Kms from Palolem Beach, 37 Kms from Margao, 61 Kms from Goa Airport and 68 Kms from Panaji. Buses are available from Canacona and Margao regularly. The beach is situated on Margao to Canacona route.

Cola Beach is a crescent-shaped beach located in Cola Village in Canacona Taluk in South Goa District of Goa, India. It is one of the remote and most secluded beaches of South Goa. It is surrounded by green vegetation, coconut plantations, and some hilly terrain flanking the south and north sides of the beach. The beach is actually divided into two parts namely North Cola, and South Cola, with a small hill separating the two parts. North Cola beach is 800 meters long, while South Cola at 145 meters is much smaller.





The most distinguishing feature of this beach is its fresh water lagoon. This fresh water lagoon can be seen on the northern side of the beach and is formed by a small river called Khola. This beach is called Cola / Khola Beach named after this river. This beach is suitable for swimming and diving. This beach is listed as one of the top 25 beaches of India in TripAdvisor's 2016 Traveler’s Choice awards. Cola Beach lies to the north of Agonda Beach. It is also ranked 12th on the list of most beautiful beaches of TripAdvisor in 2018.

The beach is located at about 2.5 Kms from Cajumol Bus Stop, 8 Kms from Agonda Beach, 11 Kms from Agonda, 11 Kms from Cabo de Rama Fort, 17 Kms from Canacona Railway Station, 17 Kms from Canacona Bus Stand, 58 Kms from Goa Airport and 65 Kms from Panaji. Cola is situated on Agonda Beach to Cabo de Rama Fort route. The access to the beach runs through a dusty mud road from Cola village.

Palolem Beach is a public beach located in Palolem Village in Canacona Taluk in South Goa District of Goa, India. It is considered to be one of the  most beautiful beaches of Goa. Palolem beach was ranked the 20th best beach in Asia and India's fifth best beach by TripAdvisor.



The Beach

The beach is about 2 Km long and is crescent-shaped. One can view the entire beach from either end. Both ends of the beach consist of rocks jutting out into the sea. The depth of the sea increases gradually, being shallowest at the northern end of the beach, making it safe for average swimmers, and the currents are not fast. It is largely unspoiled and is inhabited by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the shore or in the main village itself. The beach attracts many international tourists, mainly during the winter season between November and March. Tourists can indulge in yoga classes, dolphin-spotting trips, Scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, Ayurvedic massages and silent discos.

The beach is located at about 2.5 Kms from Colomb Beach, 2.5 Kms from Canacona Railway Station, 3 Kms from Patnem Beach, 3 Kms from Canacona Bus Stand, 10 Kms from Agonda, 39 Kms from Margao, 63 Kms from Goa Airport and 71 Kms from Panaji. It is situated between the Agonda and Patnem Beaches.

Bhoora Khon Waterfall is a waterfall located in Mamoni Village near Shivpuri City in Shivpuri District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This waterfall is one of the three famous waterfalls in Shivpuri.




The Waterfall

This waterfall is a cascade waterfall situated in the depths of dense forests. The waterfall has a total height of 25 metres. The waters are said to have medicinal properties and are believed to be good for skin ailments. There is a Shiva Linga at the bottom of the cascade. The waterfall can be reached after a trek of about 30 minutes. The best time to visit this fall is from October to March, although these falls remain open throughout the year.

The waterfall is located at about 9 Kms from Shivpuri, 10 Kms from Shivpuri Railway Station, 11 Kms from Shivpuri Bus Stand, 107 Kms from Gwalior and 120 Kms from Gwalior Airport. The waterfall is situated on Shivpuri to Gwalior route.

Bee Falls is a waterfall located in Pachmarhi Hill Station inside Satpura National Park in Narmadapuram District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This waterfall is popularly known as Jamuna Prapat. Pachmarhi is famously known as the Queen of Satpura.


Legends

This waterfall is situated close to the Pandava caves. It is said that during the exile period, the Pandavas resided in those caves and used to draw water from Bee Falls.


The Waterfall

This waterfall is cascading down from a height of about 35 metres. It is called as Bee falls because the sound of the waterfall is similar to the buzzing sound of bees. It can be reached through a short trek. There is a pool below and another one above the waterfall. It one of the favorite picnic spots amongst both locals and tourists and is a hotspot for swimming. It provides drinking water to Pachmarhi Town. This falls is not advisable for the kids and the elders. There are entry fees to enter the falls area.

Pachmarhi is well connected from Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Bhopal, Indore, Itarsi, Gadarwara and Narsinghpur. Buses start from Rani Kamalapati ISBT of Bhopal and generally take close to 5–6 hours to reach Pachmarhi.

Patalpani Waterfall is a waterfall located in Patalpani Village in Mhow Tehsil in Indore district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh and among the best waterfalls near Indore.


Legends

As per local folklore, the pit (kund) at the bottom of the falls goes as deep as Patal (the underworld in Hindu mythology). Hence, the waterfall came to be called as Patal Pani (Patal means underworld and Pani means water).


The Waterfall

The waterfall is situated on the Choral River. It has a total height of 91 metres (300 ft). The water flow is highest immediately after the rainy season (usually after July). It goes almost dry in the summer season. It is advisable not to enter the river waters of this waterfall, as the flow of water is not predictable. The area around Patalpani is a popular picnic and trekking spot.

The Waterfall

This waterfall is situated in the depth of dense forests in the Malindi region. This waterfall is a monsoon fed waterfall and has a total height of 70 feet. It is known as Mehendi kund because the color of rocks look like Mehendi. The water from this waterfall goes to the Patalpani Waterfall.

The waterfall can be reached from Nakheri Dam at the base of the hill via trekking for about 8 Kms. Nakheri Dam is located at about 1.5 Kms from Bargonda, 12 Kms from Mhow, 13 Kms from Mhow Railway Station, 35 Kms from Indore, 38 Kms from Indore Airport, 48 Kms from Maheshwar and 227 Kms from Bhopal. Nakheri Dam is situated at about 1.5 Kms to the east of Bargonda on Mhow to Maheshwar route.
