Shikhar Falls is a waterfall located in Kairwaan Gaon Village near Dehradun City in Dehradun district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated in the outskirts of Dehradun City and is considered as one of the popular tourist spots in Dehradun.
The Falls
The falls is situated in a secluded area in the hilly wooded terrains of Dehradun. The falls can be reached after a 1 Km hike on the rugged terrains. It is said that the waterfall was massive in the past, but it has now been reduced to its current size. Several species of butterflies and birds can be found in and around the falls. It is best to visit this falls during October to June.

Kms from Dehradun, 14 Kms from Dehradun Railway Station, 19 Kms from Dehradun
Bus Stand, 23 Kms from Mussoorie and 39 Kms from Dehradun Airport. The falls is
situated on Dehradun to Mussoorie route.
